Following the Sheffield event, Trevor Pinnock and the EBE took a break from recording to perform the Brandenburgs at the Birmingham Symphony Hall, the next venue on the European tour. The Birmingham concert which took place on the 19th of December, again attracted a large audience and universally positive reviews and offered another opportunity to extend the 60th birthday celebrations. This concert was sponsored by Symphony Hall founder patrons, HotHouse Integrated Marketing, who were celebrating their 5th birthday and Hot Pepper PR.
